A Message from our President:

Dear Austin ZTA Sisters,

11 years ago, I moved to Austin, Texas. Having just graduated and moved for a job, I didn’t know many people in town nor did I really have any idea of how to find friends. I remember attending the kickoff at Mary Walcutt’s home and was instantly welcomed by women who were interested in getting to know me. Plus, we all had at least one thing in common: our bond in Zeta Tau Alpha.

In my time in Austin, I’ve served the Fraternity in several roles on both the local and national level. But in serving as the President of the Austin Alumnae Chapter, I’m reminded of that choice I made 11 years ago to continue my involvement in ZTA after my time as a collegiate member. Whether you’re looking for friends, looking to reconnect to the circle of sisterhood you started to create in college, you can find what fulfills you in the Austin chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha. If you’re looking to extend your network of peers, if you’re looking for opportunities to serve your community or even if you’re just looking for a reliable babysitter, your home is still in Zeta Tau Alpha.

I welcome each and every one of you to Austin ZTA whether you just moved here or you’re an original Austin unicorn. On behalf of the executive committee, we hope to see each of you reconnect with ZTA at a local event in the coming year.

Zeta Love,

Leslie Brockman Chunta

Austin Alumnae Chapter President
